Real Weddings · Peoria, ArizonaAn Intimate Fall Wedding with an Italian Feast at Home
Madison & Tanner Riordan, Private Residence, Peoria, Arizona
There is something irreplaceable about getting married at home. Not a venue that feels like home, but an actual home, a space that already holds memories for the people who live there. Madison and Tanner Riordan's November wedding at a private residence in Peoria, Arizona was exactly that, brought to life with deep red linens, candlelight, and an Italian dinner shared under crystal chandeliers strung through the trees.
The Setting
Guests gathered at long, candlelit tables dressed in rich red linen, each place marked with a hand lettered name card resting against a menu printed on parchment. Crystal chandeliers hung low from the branches above, and hundreds of taper candles carried the evening into night.
Planning a Private Home Wedding
Private residence weddings require a different kind of planning than a venue wedding does. There is no built in infrastructure, no venue coordinator, no standard rental inventory. Everything, from the chandeliers overhead to the dinner on the table, is built from scratch. It is one of our favorite kinds of celebration to plan, and exactly the kind of day Madison Kay Events was built for.
Burgundy linens, chandeliers, and a ceremony candle flip gave the evening its warmth, while Madison and Tanner kept their vows private between just the two of them, officiated by Tanner's longtime friend.
